Beanie me up!

Be it rain, wind or shine, to me a beanie is just as much a stylish accessory as a handbag or banging pair of stilettos.

Let’s face it, they are cool, edgy, fun, go with smart or casual and they can cover up a multitude of bad hair days!

My beanie love propelled during the neon phase when I purchased a pink one, and if you see my Instagram feed (my_wardrobe_utopia – plug plug, ahem!), you’ll see that I style it quite a lot!

Since then, I have added a few to my collection and I love styling up or down an outfit with one of these mop toppers!

My favourite recent outfits with a beanie were faux leather trousers, camouflage jacket with sequin sleeves, & black strappy stilettos and the other was skinny jeggings, black h&m jumper, holographic office pumps and zara camel coat with leather sleeves. 2 completely different looks with 1 hat!

In the winter I’m constantly looking for ways to style ‘up’ my outfits and I find the beanie is the perfect accessory to do just that. Amazing colours to brighten up a one colour outfit, jewels to add some sparkle and gold chains to add some edge.

They take me right through to spring for the cooler days too when I perhaps ditch the coat and go for a light jumper and jeans. In contrast I’ve also been wearing mine out coastal walking with a nice warm coat, boots, jeans and ultra cool sunglasses.
